Product Details

Antique porcelain hair receiver dating to approximately the early 1900s, measuring about 2.75” tall. Features a soft aqua-blue porcelain body with a pierced lid, raised silver-tone floral decoration, and an aged metal rim with clasp. Hair receivers were common vanity-table accessories in the late Victorian and Edwardian eras, used to collect hair from brushes and combs for later reuse in hairpieces, pincushions, or other household purposes. The piece has a beautifully aged appearance with visible patina, finish wear, discoloration, and oxidation to the metal and silver decoration. Exact maker is unknown. Approx. 2.75” tall. Please review all photos closely for condition. All antique and vintage items are sold as-is and final sale.
