Product Details

You are purchasing this blue and white Japanese Blue Willow saucer, measuring 5.5" diameter. Marked "Made in Occupied Japan." This saucer features the classic cobalt blue transferware design depicting a bridge, pagodos, trees and two birds in flight. This saucer has a bit of staining and the glaze is dull in areas. This saucer would look good with a small cloche (not included) See last picture. This saucer was manufactured, during the era of Allied Occupation between 1945 - 1952. After the WWII, the United States mandated that all Japanese export goods be labeled this way to track and controlled trade during the country's economic rebuilding process. Please purchase responsibility. No cancelations, refunds or returns. Ask questions before purchasing. See all pictures. Thank you
