I rehab bags ......when I get a bag it gets a spa date with me for a good deep cleaning then a do whatever minor repairs that may be needed or paint if needed too. when. it's back ro par status I resell the bag .... i f it's to far gone then I cut it up and repurpose it Into hats or charms or something. everyday gets a second life.
