For years, I balanced life as a single mother working in healthcare, always loving crafts from "blinging" my home to doing art projects with my son.On 12/19/20, my world changed when I fell downstairs & shattered my ankle. Recovery brought 3 severe infections, in home IV strong antibiotics & 17 surgeries. Stuck at home with depression & cabin fever, I struggled with losing my self-sufficiency, unable to return to full-time work.During this dark time, my oldest sister gave me a box of jewelry supplies. I didn't touch it for years, but once I did, I never stopped. I began with beaded pens & keychains, moving to bracelets, earrings & necklaces.
