I can't remember a time when I didn't love going to a thrift store or antique mall. Growing up in the 70s and 80s, my family took a lot of great road trips. Along the way and through many states, we would get so excited (mostly my dad and me) when we saw the big ANTIQUES sign from the highway. Usually, Dad would ask if they had any old milk bottles, and I would make a beeline for the dolls and figurines. Man, I found some great stuff on those trips…Anyhoo, I am still in my happy place when thrifting or antiquing. And after years of shopping with friends and family, I realized that my tolerance for rummaging and thrifting through junk to find treasure is higher than most. 😂 When others declare they’re done, I'm just getting warmed up. I'm doing this so I don't become a hoarder!
