So I skunked in a break. No problem there. It comes with the territory.
A few things though. Kendra and Ryan said nothing about a stash or pass until later in the break but supposedly that had been running the whole time. If I knew to spend 25 or more I would’ve done it for the extra spin. So I took that on the chin no problem. I knew with the character I had. I would probably skunk. So whatever, but what truly did it for me was when I got my pack. The “skunk pack” was 3 new kids on the block cards” in a marvel break why would I want NKOTB cards from 1989. Just send me some marvel base.
When I brought this up to the girls Ryan was nice about sorry about the skunk pack. Kendra had an attitude. I’ve spent a lot of money with we the hobby before. And to get this kind of treatment is just crazy to me. If I skunk…fine. Next time layout the rules in the beginning so I could’ve paid for the insurance of a stash or pass. I didn’t get that opportunity. But nkotb cards and Kendra upset me. Player breaks are hard. The spot I had had no possibility of hitting anything but base. Felt taken advantage of but learned my lesson. Had fun seeing others hit though. Thank you for the givvy!!
