The Avon perfume bottle was described as green and the top described as brass. The top is plastic and the green bottle ia actually clear with green food coloring dye inside. I was hopeful it was the original perfume in the bottle, but its just green food coloring. I'm a bit disappointed. The brass candlestick holder is as described. I am sorry you are disappointed with the perfume bottle! The green is the way I bought it and it smelled like perfume to me.
