However, during the live sale the seller described it as a “good display piece,” which led me to expect it would be in decent display condition without significant scratches or heavy wear.
I purchased a red 444 Friendship Cinderella bowl. When it arrived, I was surprised by the number of scratches and marks it had. I even went back to the listing photos and rewatched the live sale to make sure I hadn’t overlooked anything because the condition didn’t match what I expected based on the description.
Again, I don’t feel the price was unreasonable, but I do think the condition should have been described more accurately so buyers know exactly what they’re getting. I also felt the packaging could have been better. Compared to other Whatnot sellers I’ve purchased from, this item wasn’t packaged as securely as I would have expected.
I’m leaving this review simply so future buyers have an accurate idea of my experience.The condition of the piece was disclosed in the listing as the item was marked preowned-fair and it was shown during the show using a flashlight to point out scratches prior to purchase. I try my best to accurately represent my vintage items, including any wear consistent with age and use. I appreciate the feedback and will continue working to provide detailed descriptions and photos for my buyers I loved your first show, congratulations and I can’t wait to see more!
