That is the luck of the draw on surprise sets. When bidding the odds are openly shown and understood. If you don’t want to “waste” money I would recommend not going in on surprise sets. Had you won a chase I’m sure you would’ve been happy to get a high dollar product for less than 5$, seeing as you “wasted” four dollars.
