Final Destination (2000) is about a high school student who has a premonition of a fatal plane crash, saving himself and several others before Death begins to claim them one by one through freak accidents. Final Destination 2 (2003) follows a new group of survivors who cheat a highway pile-up via a similar premonition, only to be hunted by Death, which is now intent on claiming its original victims as well as those who are now alive.
