Victorian brooch featuring a detailed equestrian country scene with two riders on horseback, a cottage backdrop, and raised repoussé-style metalwork. Crafted in mixed metals with gilt highlights that bring out the depth and texture of the figures and landscape. A beautiful late 19th century decorative piece. Condition: Wear consistent with age including patina, darkening, and gilt loss. The pin back is a later replacement and not original to the piece. Brooch still displays well.
