vintage set of three Kwik Klik retractable ballpoint pens. made in the USA. Island Pen, which produced the Kwik-Klik and Stacie pen lines, was co-founded in 1952 by Ida and Milton Cooper. Brand: Kwik Klik Color: Black plastic body with chrome/silver-tone clips and accents. Mechanism: retractable ballpoints. Case: Includes the original clear plastic display case with a black base. Made in USA: A genuine piece of mid-century Americana. Important Note on Refills: The original refills (which appear to be the X-10 style) are almost certainly dried out after decades in storage. The pens will require modern replacement refills to be functional writing instruments. Replacements are available from specialized online pen retailers.
