This is an antique H.R. Stevens Vegetine medicine bottle. Vegetine was sold as a patent medicine, advertised as "the great blood purifier". It claimed to cure various maladies, including neuralgia, gout, sciatica, and skin diseases. The proprietor, Henry R. Stevens, assumed ownership of the product around 1871, with the medicine packed in hand-blown, oval-shaped glass bottles. The product was prepared by H.R. Stevens in Boston, Massachusetts, in the late 1800s. 1 liter
