Produced by the Fenton Art Glass Company, this versatile piece was introduced in 1948 and often referred to as the "creative Candle Bowl" in their 1969 catalog. The bowl features the classic hobnail (bumpy) pattern and a scalloped or sawtooth rim. It is designed to hold multiple candles, typically one central candle and five smaller taper candles around the perimeter. The center can accommodate a larger candle (votive, pillar, or 3/4 inch taper), while the outer holes fit 1/2 inch taper candles. The bowl can also be used as a centerpiece for holding flowers or greenery, combining them with candles for a mixed display.
