This substrate is designed for environments that remain warm while experiencing regular humidity spikes throughout the day, closely mimicking natural rainforest conditions. Terra Fauna is engineered to retain moisture while efficiently draining excess water into a drainage layer, helping to prevent waterlogging and anaerobic conditions. Its structure creates essential air pockets that promote healthy root development for live plants while also supporting springtails and isopods in establishing a sustainable clean-up crew within the enclosure. This nutrient-rich blend provides excellent organic support for planted vivariums and long-term bioactive stability.
