This lovely Victorian Revival design is a late 1960s/early 1970s creation from unmarked Whiting & Davis, and features a mirrored-glass, root beer colored cameo pendant with matching clip earrings. The demi-parure jewelry set is made of gold tone metal with bezel-set oval cameos. The beautiful woman in the cameos is made of root beer/caramel colored glass, laid over a mirror backing - which creates back light and depth to the design. Each oval is surrounded by curved open metal frames. The oval pendant measures 1 3/4 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide. With its gold bale and dangling tassel, the pendant measures 3 1/2 inches long. There is no hang tag indicating this is a Whiting & Davis piece, yet I substantiated its maker matches through numerous searches. I believe the original chain must have become broken or was lost, thus loosing the only part identifying the piece as W& D.
