Détails du produit

Descoware is a discontinued brand of porcelain-enameled cast-iron cookware, popular in the 1950s–1970s and favored by Julia Child for being lighter than competitors like Le Creuset. Created by David E. Sanford in the 1940s/50s, the cookware was forged in Japan and enameled in Belgium. It is highly collectible, often featuring bright "flame orange" or yellow colors. This is marked "FE 34", "Descoware", and "Made in Belgium" on the bottom of the dish. The number 34 refers to it being 34 cm in length or about 13 1/3 inches long. It measures about 13 1/3" x 9 1/8" x 1 7/8" at the top. Has small chips that are primarily focused around the edges - unsure if this is just a manufacturing defect. Used condition and does have minor cosmetic defects.
