Vintage Portmeirion "Grotesque Dolphin" shaving scuttle or mug, featuring a distinct dolphin shape. Decorated with pink and yellow floral pattern on white porcelain. Manufacturer is Portmeirion Potteries. According to Worthpoint, this shaving scuttle is hard to find, especially in the United States. Shaving mugs such as this are mostly made in England. Measures Approximately 6" from handle to spout and 4" high. No chips, but has a mature crack in the inner lathering area which slightly moves over the outer edge.
