This surf rig features two separate drops. The upper drop is equipped with a float hook, which has the float attached to the hook itself. This ensures that the float and hook stay together to keep your bait higher in the water column. The lower drop features two beads to help attract fish towards the bottom where the sand may be kicked up lowering visibility. Your color selection will determine your float hook color and the beads will match that selection. Simply tie the barrel swivel to your line and clip a 2-3oz weight to the coast lock on the other end. Cast it out to the area between the shoreline and the first sandbar, reel your line tight and let it sit. The fish do the rest! My favorite baits are shrimp and sand fleas, topped with some fish gum or fish bites. I have plenty of colors to choose from so don’t hesitate to reach out with any custom color/ rig set up requests.
