This is a Sears Roebuck Merry Mushroom cookie jar. The jar (without lid) is almost 7.5 inches tall. The opening of the jar is 6.25 inches wide which is how it can be identified as a cooking jar. The lid has an inner lip of 5.25, which identifies it as the large canister lid NOT the cookie jar lid. That said you can see from the pictures that they still look quite good together. The lid is a little loose but will not fall off because the inner lip still prevents it from sliding off. There are NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. It is in good condition.
