Détails du produit

This 1859-O Seated Liberty Silver Half Dollar was recovered from the shipwreck of the SS Republic and has been certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) with a "Shipwreck Effect" designation (which indicates the surfaces were conserved after being submerged for nearly 140 years). This beauty was struck at the New Orleans Mint ("O" mintmark) in 90% silver. The SS Republic sank in October 1865 during a hurricane while traveling from New York to New Orleans with a cargo of gold and silver coins. The wreck was discovered in August 2003 at a depth of 1,700 feet by Odyssey Marine Exploration. Condition Note: The "Shipwreck Effect" label is used because the saltwater exposure typically alters the original mint luster, though this recovered masterpiece remains in high-detail condition! À propos du vendeur
A L W A Y S E N J O Y I N G 1. Larger well centered ancients! We can have in our hands little pictures of what it was like thousands of years ago!!! 2. Older consecutive and sequential currency (Silver Certificates, United States Notes, Large Notes, etc) 3. Jefferson and Buffaloes from OMAHA BANK HOARD (just for some fun 😎) 4. Full books of AU/BU Winged Liberties 16-45 and Washington Quarters 32-64 (what I like doing is buying the complete book and then swapping out whichever ones in the new book are better than my old book and then reselling it again!)
