This is a complete series of 4 Framed Silk Scarves that were offered exclusively to American Express catalog customers in 1986-1988. They were originally priced at $349 each. Offered and sold separately with a new one every six months. It is very rare to have a collection of all four together. They sold out almost immediately. They are all originally painted by Erte' for covers of Harper's Bazaar magazine. They were licensed by Erte' to Sevenarts Ltd. UK. and are in 37x37 frames.
