The cuff has a very heavy presence of dark patina from sitting in safe for years. I would suggest having it buffed and shined. That's at the buyers preference. Sterling silver and stamped. Mr. Patania July 4, 1899 - Feb 26, 1964 was born in Sicily and started an apprenticeship at the age of 6 in Italy and later immigrated to the USA to work as a goldsmith in NY.
