This issue features the first appearance of Coldheart (Kateri Deseronto), a government operative with cryokinetic swords who blames superheroes for the death of her son. While Coldheart is a relatively niche character (later appearing in Civil War), this issue is prized for its high-stakes action and for being the final issue before the "Blue" and "Silver" foil era of the 32-page Spider-Man title.
