New in box with all factory paperwork. This knife for auction is a 1981 issue Case Genuine Stag Hammerhead, 4 7/8" closed, with an incredible pair of Genuine India Stag (deer stag) handles and the famous Hammerhead blade etch. This Case Hammerhead is stamped on the front tang of the Clip blade with Case XX SS (Lightning SS) USA and 9 Dots, dating this as a 1981 issue Case knife, while the rear tang is pattern stamped with 5159 LSSP. The front cap end bolster also features the encircled Case bolster stamp and the Clip blade has nice solid "walk and talk" snap. This is an outstanding knife that has never been used or carried. The brass bolsters are nice and shiny and the original Case Genuine Leather Sheath and even the original Case factory safety card and the original era large size Case factory brochure are STILL HERE with the Hammerhead!
