This is the official 1973 American Revolution Bicentennial Commemorative Medal, custom-struck by the United States Mint. The front (obverse) features detailed busts of revolutionary patriots Samuel Adams and Patrick Henry with the year 1973, while the reverse depicts a tense meeting of the Committees of Correspondence under the banner "To Unite the Colonies."
