Original flyer for a Wednesday April 23rd matinee show at 155 Avenue C, between 9th and 10th Street — deep in Alphabet City, Lower East Side, Manhattan. $3, 4:00pm, all ages. Choking Victim were a fixture of the C-Squat squat punk scene just blocks away, blending ska, hardcore, and crust into what they called "crack rock steady." They later became Leftöver Crack. Also on the bill: Assucks from Philly, Bristle from Seattle, The Dregs, Distraught, and The Spider Cunts. A mid-90s snapshot of the NYC anarcho-punk and crust circuit, in the neighborhood where much of it was centered. Some wear, print reads clearly.
