Vintage 1964 American Legion Auxiliary convention badge featuring a memorial portrait of John F. Kennedy (1917–1963). Issued for the 46th Annual Convention held in Syracuse, New York in July 1964. Features “Dept. of New York” text, original ribbon, pin back, and detailed silver tone metal badge design. Manufactured by Bastian Bros. Company of Rochester, New York. A fascinating piece of mid-century patriotic and political memorabilia created less than a year after JFK’s assassination.
