Up for sale is a charming, authentic vintage ceramic "Hen on a Nest" lidded trinket dish made by the renowned historic French manufacturer PV (Portieux Vallerysthal) France.This beautiful country farmhouse piece features a two-part assembly: a lovely pale yellow/cream glazed hen top that rests perfectly on a textured, basketweave-styled brown base. The bottom of the piece features the authentic incised maker's mark "PV" alongside the mold number "2321".Perfect as a countertop egg holder, trinket dish, candy bowl, or a standout addition to a vintage yellowware or majolica pottery collection!
