Détails du produit

1 Gold Fanam from 1600’s India, minted by the Dutch East India company to look and feel like the currency commonly used for trade by locals. The dies used for these coins were actually obtained by the Dutch from local Indian coin smiths for true accuracy, and therefore may appear slightly used or worn, but are physical dies made by native Indians and used for minting by the Dutch. Fanams minted by the Dutch are typically heavier and minted from higher purity gold, the Dutch actually added 20MG of gold to the original planchets designed for these dies. Usually weight is between .4~.6 of a gram pure gold.
