Set of three extremely intricate Burmese wooden lacquerware nesting boxes with palace portrait scenes on both sides. The technique used to decorate these little boxes is called "Yun-de" with the designs being incised by hand into the base black lacquer and filled with bright pigment to make the finely detailed designs. The largest has a few small spots of wear around the edges, but otherwise they're in excellent condition for their age. Measurements: 3"x3.75", 2.5"x3.25", 1.75"x2.75".
