A beautiful and collectible vintage Weisner of Miami round powder compact featuring an elegant design of hand-applied faux seed pearls, larger faux pearls, and brilliant clear rhinestones on a brushed gold-tone background. This glamorous Mid-Century vanity accessory embodies the feminine, high-style aesthetic that made Weisner of Miami compacts so desirable during the 1950s-1960s. This example includes the original interior mirror along with the powder sifter and powder puff, making it a wonderful display piece or addition to a vintage vanity collection. While this compact is unsigned, I am confident attributing it to Weisner of Miami based on the distinctive construction, decoration, and known examples, as many authentic Weisner compacts were originally identified only by paper labels that have since been lost.
