Vintage Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics Centennial Hanging Banner Flag Red 12.5" A Item: USA Olympics hanging banner / flag from the Games of the XXVIth Olympiad, Atlanta 1996. Design: Red fabric with blue fringe and hanging cord, featuring embroidered navy and gold text and the Olympic rings. Condition: This banner is in good overall condition with no rips, stains or bad odors. It shows light general wear with wrinkles and creasing from storage. Fringe and tassel ends have some fraying and loose threads. Fabric and embroidery colors remain strong and display well. Please see all photos. It measures approximately 11.5" inches wide and 12.5" inches long. Front text reads: "GAMES OF THE XXVI th OLYMPIAD" above the USA Olympic rings logo, with "100" and "ATLANTA 1996" below. Back side is plain red with the embroidery pattern faintly visible through the fabric. Construction: Satin-like synthetic fabric (likely polyester) with gold-tone pointed finials at each end of the hanging rod.
