Almost uncirculated 1932 Weimar German 4 Pfennig, produced for only one year and widely unaccepted due to its odd denomination. It recieved the nickname of “Bruning Thaler” from prime minister Bruning, the promoter and main distributor of its use. He tried so hard to have the German people adopt the 4 Pfennig that he changed the laws that all change or wage given in 2mark must be given in 4 Pfennig. The coin lasted one year as the German people refused its use.
