More photos to come!!! Construction: 100% Hand-pieced and hand-quilted. Beautiful, authentic hand-stitching throughout. Approx 72”x82”. Front Design: Highly striking solid red background featuring vibrant scrap-fabric interlocking rings. They feature a massive variety of tiny calico prints, pastels, & stripes. During the 1930s Great Depression, fabric was incredibly scarce. Quilters saved every tiny scrap from homemade clothing, worn-out work shirts, & calico feed sacks to piece these complex rings together. Backing: Fully lined in a cozy, rustic plaid flannel backing. Based on the styling, construction, and materials, this quilt was most likely made between 1930 and 1945 (The Great Depression to WWII era). Condition Notes: Shows beautiful, authentic/historic character. There is some staining/age-toning spots, fabric fraying and a couple tears along the edges consistent w/ age.
