Absolutely spectacular vintage Bohemia Czechoslovakia hand-cut lead crystal vase with extraordinary deep cutting and jewel-like brilliance. This beautifully substantial round-form crystal vase is covered in an intricate combination of starbursts, geometric panels, crosshatching, fans and deeply faceted cuts. The extensive hand cutting creates incredible flashes of rainbow light as the piece moves. The original Bohemia Czechoslovakia factory label remains attached and reads: “BOHEMIA CZECHOSLOVAKIA — HAND CUT LEAD CRYSTAL OVER 24% PbO” The crystal is exceptionally clear and feels remarkably substantial for its size. This is a heavy, serious piece of Czech lead crystal, with craftsmanship that is meant to be appreciated up close.
