Original antique English sporting print titled “Trout Fishing,” after a painting by noted British sporting artist Abraham Cooper, R.A. (1787–1868) and engraved by A.W. Warren. Beautifully detailed fishing scene depicting two gentlemen trout fishing along a rocky river, enhanced with subtle hand coloring. A wonderful piece of traditional English sporting art—perfect for a study, library, gentleman’s room, English country, Grandmillennial or equestrian/sporting-inspired interior. Back retains a vintage Collectors Treasures Ltd., Hogarth House, Wendover, Bucks., England dealer label identifying the piece as an “original antique map/print.” Approx. 16” x 14.5” framed.
