Movado Kingmatic Calendar automatic wristwatch, circa 1970, featuring the portrait of Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the first Emir of Bahrain, one of the rare Gulf-commission portrait dials made for the region's ruling families in this era. Very few of these surface in any condition, and this is genuinely one of the finest examples known. 28-jewel automatic movement, mirrored champagne dial, polished round 34mm case, black Movado leather strap with signed plated buckle. Case, dial, and movement all signed. Condition is essentially new old stock. She comes complete with the original Movado presentation case, and swing tags still attached, exactly as pictured
