Vintage Republic of China era (circa 1930s–1940s) fine porcelain tea cup from the famous Gaopi kilns in Guangdong. Semi-translucent light blue glaze decorated with an underglaze hand-painted design of a songbird on a blossoming branch. Stamped with the historical red "高陂 CHINA" mark on the bottom. Excellent antique/vintage condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing.
