Fantastic set of 4 vintage PYREX Commercial Tableware bowls in the Green Leaf pattern — genuine heavy-duty PYREX made for the restaurant and institutional food-service market, rather than the standard consumer kitchenware line. Each is the #707 rimmed Fruit/Cereal Bowl, measuring approximately 6½ inches and holding 8 oz. These substantial white opal-glass bowls feature the repeating dark green leaf/sprig design around the rim. Bottom marked: PYREX® Brand Tableware by Corning Made in U.S.A. 707-2 Corning introduced its Commercial Tableware line in the 1950s for demanding food-service environments. These pieces were designed for durability and were used in restaurants and institutional settings including schools, hospitals and military facilities. Set of FOUR matching bowls as shown.
