This is an antique sepia-toned cabinet card photograph of two young boys (Chas & Burton Eads, brothers) posing in a Victorian studio, stamped by photographer W.B. Praytor in Ladonia, Texas. The handwriting on the back denotes Denison, TX as a location. Format: A traditional mounted cabinet card popular in the late 19th century. Photographer: Imprinted with the studio mark of W.B. Praytor (William Bluford Praytor, 1861–1942), an itinerant Texas photographer active in towns including Ladonia during the 1890s.
