Beautiful Fenton Art Glass Vulcan handled basket in a gorgeous transparent light blue / icy blue glass. This striking American art glass basket features Fenton’s distinctive Vulcan pattern, with bold vertical optic ribbing that flows down the body into a deeply molded geometric starburst design on the underside. The upper edge is dramatically hand-shaped into a sculptural ruffled and crimped rim, while a substantial twisted applied glass handle arches gracefully overhead. The delicate blue glass has wonderful clarity and catches the light beautifully, highlighting the deeply molded pattern and dimensional shape. Even more striking, this piece is strongly UV Reactive, producing an intense brilliant neon-green reaction under UV light, as clearly shown in the photos. 💚 The dramatic transformation from soft icy blue in normal lighting to vivid fluorescent green makes this an especially eye-catching piece for a UV Reactive glass display. A beautiful addition for collectors of Fenton Art Glass, Vulcan glass, light blue glass, blue art glass, UV Reactive glass, vintage glass baskets, ruffled glass, twisted handle baskets, American art glass and decorative pressed glass.
