Description:A beautiful German regional commemorative medallion struck in 2005 to celebrate the historic 800-year jubilee of Untertürkheim, a district of Stuttgart. This limited local issue was commissioned by the local Untertürkheimer Volksbank. Obverse: Stamped with the sponsoring bank Untertürkheimer Volksbank surrounding a split heraldic coat of arms. Reverse: Features the text 800 Jahre Untertürkheim 2005 surrounding a detailed cityscape relief of the town's historic church towers. Condition: Excellent. Displays a uniform matte gold-colored finish with strong relief details and clear lettering. Presentation: Protected inside a standard cardboard 2x2 staple coin folder. A fantastic token for collectors of specialized German bank tokens, Stuttgart local history, or regional European anniversary exonumia.

Hi, I’m Barry. I come from Merseyside but now live in Durham after living in Catterick for 30 odd years. Yes I was in the Army, I’ve also worked for the Police as a civilian and then I worked for the NHS as my final job before I retired 2 years ago. I’m married, she’s from the area we are now in Durham. Have a stepson and 5 brilliant grandchildren.
