Antique Sanford’s No. 27 glass inkwell featuring thick aqua-tinted glass and a distinctive shouldered bottle form. The base is embossed “SANFORD’S 27”, identifying it as an early Sanford ink container. The naturally pale aqua glass, heavy construction, and visible manufacturing irregularities give this piece wonderful antique character. A great addition to a collection of antique writing accessories, advertising bottles, early glass, or vintage office and desk décor. Markings: Embossed on base: SANFORD’S 27 Condition: Good antique condition with expected age-related wear. Glass shows surface scratches, cloudiness/residue, small bubbles and manufacturing irregularities, along with areas of staining and discoloration from previous use and age. No lid or stopper is included. Please review all photos closely for condition and details. A beautiful piece of early American writing and office history with especially attractive aqua glass.
