This piece starts with a genuine U.S. 35% silver wartime Jefferson nickel and is individually deep-relief laser engraved by TxLooT using a custom 3D depth map. The design features a rugged Texas cowboy with hat and cigar, Texas details, and a 1936 date incorporated as part of the artwork. The engraving creates true sculpted depth directly into the metal — this is not printed, painted, or simply surface marked. Because every original war nickel has its own wear, toning and surface characteristics, every finished engraving comes out a little different.
