This authentic vintage Peruvian Mate Burilado (fire-etched gourd) features fine-line sgraffito artwork hand-engraved by a South American artisan. • Front Side: Features a hand-etched folk-art rendering of the Peruvian National Coat of Arms (Escudo Nacional). The shield displays the native vicuña, a cinchona tree, and a cornucopia topped by a radiating sunburst. It is beautifully framed by an etched laurel wreath tied with a delicate bow. • Back Side: Depicts an intricately carved portrait of an indigenous Andean couple, with the gentleman wearing a traditional knitted chullo cap and holding a pipe. • Rim Accent: The top opening is finished with an ornamental, floral-embossed silver-toned metal collar rim.
