2023-24 Topps Now #VW6, Victor Wembanyama Rookie of the Year, graded BGS 9 Mint (cert #0020546505; subgrades: Centering 9.5, Corners 8.5, Edges 9.5, Surface 9.5). This Topps NOW card was printed on 05-06-24, the day Wembanyama's 2023-24 Rookie of the Year win was announced. The design uses a deep maroon-to-black gradient background with a large action shot of Wembanyama screaming while holding the ball, a small RC (rookie) logo in the top left corner, and bold "ROOKIE OF THE YEAR" text stacked across the lower half of the card in an orange-to-yellow gradient. The Topps NOW logo sits at the bottom. This is a common, unnumbered Topps NOW card — Topps NOW cards are print-to-order rather than pack-pulled, so rarity here comes from the BGS 9 Mint grade and the significance of the subject (a Rookie of the Year commemorative printed the day of the announcement) rather than a serial-numbered print run. Card is encased in its original BGS holder.
