Czechoslovakia late 1930s to 1950s Ditmar Urbach was a highly regarded ceramic manufacturer originally founded in Teplitz-Turn (now Teplice, Czech Republic). They became famous throughout Europe during the 1920s and 1930s for their vibrant Art Deco art pottery and whimsical, relief-molded majolica dinnerware. "The hand-painted finish and distinct backstamps make this Czechoslovakian version more collectible than its common postwar Japanese counterparts." 10" long

Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of Whatnot! No, don't go, yet! Forgive my social awkwardness and horrid case of word vomit!! I'll make up for it with my true love of anything odd or eclectic. I will forewarn you, I am not a font of information about antiques and history... but I'm learning. And loving every minute of it!! I've bought A LOT! Now I have to purge much because I simply do not have space for it. My heart will break many times saying goodbye to a lot of it, but I will be so happy to share it all with you.
