Gorgeous set of 6 antique Victorian/Edwardian dessert/fruit knives manufactured by Landers, Frary & Clark (L.F.& C.) under their premier "Universal" line. Dating from the early 1900s. Features genuine, highly iridescent Mother-of-Pearl handles and ornate, decorative sterling silver ferrules/collars. The blades bear the classic stamped "Universal L.F. & C." cartouche marker's mark. Please note: These blades have an authentic, heavily darkened antique patina from carbon steel age, giving them an incredible rustic historical look. One blade shows more notable surface wear/aging than the others. No cracks or chips to the pearl handles. Ready to clean and polish up, or leave as-is for display!
