Beautiful vintage ruby red art glass pedestal bowl featuring a dramatic free-form, folded rim with a rich translucent red color. The sculptural shape and raised pedestal base give it a striking Mid-Century Modern look. Under black light/UV, portions of the glass produce a strong orange glow, consistent with cadmium/selenium-type colorants commonly found in red glass. I would describe it as “orange glow under UV” rather than definitively identifying the glass composition. Size: 5 1/8” x 4 1/2” x 2 1/2” Condition: Excellent preowned vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or wear. View all pictures as they are part of the description.
